You Only Think You're White

In a world of Bi-POC LGBTQ diversity seminars, I think all this fuss can’t be made without some amount of reality in the ideas.

The idea of me being white as the grandson of Italian immigrants being raised as an Appalachian has always been a strange feeling. When I get around other white people I never quite fit into the culture with my darker skin tones and loud mannerisms. The food and the passion never quite seemed proper to call myself white. So I came up with a different way to view things.

I have been thinking about this for a long time. I just used “thinking on” in the last sentence. I rather like my roots and my culture if I'm being honest. So, the basics we are all a lot of things we don’t recognize due to us giving them up to participate in a system that offered us the opportunity to become middle-class yuppies in a suburban split-level neighborhood. Now that this is out of reach for most of us we are starting to feel the basic struggle of our ancestors. We took for granted that the world would just continue to progress forever. I am not without fault in this myself. Most of my heroes growing up were black. Michael Jordan, Bo Jackson, Jerry Rice, though I did have Joe Montana as an Italian.

The reason why all this is happening is for a lot of reasons.

Birthrates

During the 19th century, the world advanced rapidly but one basic discovery unlocked the full potential of man’s greed and ambitions.

Oil. Oil is responsible for everything we have today. It is the basic building block of human society. Without oil, there is no electricity, no food storage, no medicine, no transport, no flights, all of our society is based on oil.

This is a population spike like a spike in any other animal population the other side looks just the same as the incline.

Now with the advent of oil, it allowed for mass urbanization of the entire world because industry is done best inside of a city where people and goods can be centrally located.

Which caused this.

There is a major problem with this amount of urbanization. Kids on a farm are helpful in a transactional sense. Your children after the age of 6 or 7 will help on a farm they do work, absorb your culture, and carry it on. They are an asset. Kids in a city are a liability. They are basically pets due to the lack of space and use. Which causes a graph that looks like this.

Why is this bad? When you have a lack of young workers prices rise for basic labor and mass immigration is implemented to arrest inflation. This causes inflation in the basic cost to survive due to demand pressure for homes and normal goods. People aren’t dumb they see the world around them and they cannot survive with high prices and see the government instead of addressing issues they try to save their own skin by replacing the native population. The people not having any political power blame the migrants and then here we are.

The Cold War

From 1945 to 1990 the United States was locked in a battle for societal survival with a nation called the USSR. Now this is not the truth in any way but the managers were told this fiction, so they acted accordingly. In 1944 the Allies threw a party called Bretton Woods. It was the flyest party that had ever been thrown. There was DJ Keynes and MC Dexter. These supafly dudes jammed out and came up with a way to allow all the world to do trade and tie their currency to the US dollar.

This worked amazingly up until the 1960s there were millions of good union jobs created and middle classes built. America was on top of the world but there were some cracks showing and instability started to rattle around. The United States feared their economy might stall. So America made some moves the CIA started the feminist and civil rights movements. Congress passed the immigration act of 1965 opened the borders and broke the unions, then took themselves off the gold standard after France and a few other countries questioned if they could pay their debts. This caused inflation and a recession. After some crafty moves by Fed Chair Volker, the Neo-Liberal principles were placed into action through Jimmy Carter and then Ronald Reagan the taxes got slashed on upper-end earners, and finally, China and Japan came fully online in manufacturing then the USSR collapsed. Oh, yeah did I mention no-fault divorce, the birth control pill, and abortion being legalized?

As you can imagine all this was to fight the Soviet menace through freedom. I am not sure how one helps the other. I hit myself with a shovel for your French toast the other day. Truth is this was a corporate Coup of the American government but the mainstream left and right talking point is the Cold War. This was because labor was eating into the profits of shareholders too much so they doubled the labor force by adding all the women plus immigrants. Freedom baby who needs a mom there’s scooby doo on the tube.

NAFTA & CAFTA

There are very few things that can make right and left wingers want to throw chairs at politicians more than the word NAFTA. NAFTA with a stroke of a pen caused more issues for Americans and Mexicans than the Spanish empire did. Well, I mean Mexico City is sinking so maybe not but it sounds good. Basically it’s a free trade agreement that dumped a massive amount of subsidized corn and wheat into Mexico causing farmers to go out of business and migrate to The USA. Which in turn, caused American workers in lower-skill jobs that were unionized to be displaced by cheap immigrant labor. This also set up the northern plazas in Mexico to become narco states. Which caused massive violence all along the southern border of the USA. This also caused the jobs already teetering in places like Detroit and Ohio to move to Mexico for cheaper labor. This caused millions of people in the Rust Belt to move to places like California and Texas to escape the hellscape that was left after the manufacturing left their town. For anyone who is not a fan of gangster rap this is where it comes from. Also this, in turn, caused the college scam we have today. Everyone was clamoring for a ladder up to escape this nightmare that had been created.

CAFTA isn’t spoken about as much as NAFTA is but it’s been just as bad. The basics all still apply. Manufacturing jobs were lost, and the cost of goods went down. We built up a rival nation and allowed for massive profit gains for companies selling these goods.

College Bubble

The college bubble comes from years of us destroying low and middle-skill jobs from the rust belt and other manufacturing and food processing areas in our country. We allowed managers to convince everyone they should move up the value-added chain in the labor market. Upskill as some put it retrain this has been a massive failure. The reasons are numerous but the one that applies here is college’s basic purpose: To prepare you to be a part of a corporate environment. This means many things but the most important thing is to strip you of your regional, local, or ancestral culture. The reason for this is simple: to run a well-oiled machine the cogs all need to be the same. This simple thing has stripped the majority of people of the basic cultures they need to be able to bond with their neighbors during a time of hardship. The reason we all function right now is because times are pretty easy everyone is fat and entertained. Imagine tomorrow the money stops working or your card with all your currency on it means nothing. What do you do how well will your neighbors work together to grow food? Could you grow food? Do any of you have anything in common? Even now it’s hard to have basic relationships with anyone. This is where culture community a bond is shared over your people being your people. The practices, the want to pass down these cultures hearing your kid talk like you is the best thing ever.

Your Empirical Designation

This is basic America is an empire. We are not one nation but many and so your Empirical Designation is American. To a European, this is what you are. Just as Jesus to a Chinese person would have been a Roman.

Your Ethnicity

We all are descended from some group Irish, Italian, Chochtah, pick one that you are that is your ethnicity.

Your Nationality

Now this one is trickier. Where were you born? I am an Appalachian I was born in the Appalachian mountains on the Kittatiny Ridge. I took my first steps chasing chickens. I was potty trained in an outhouse. What are you? You could be a Texan or a Southerner. You could be a New Yorker or a Masshole. Out west there are not a lot of distinctions. Here is a Map.

Your Corporate Designation

This one is where we all trip ourselves up. We all identify ourselves by what a corporation would call us. I am White to a corporation. I am Italian how can I be white? We literally speak a dialect of Latin. We invented Latin. This is dumb none of us are actually white. Each of us has an ethnicity our people our genes our DNA our culture is a birthright we steal from ourselves. Conservatives always fight for freedom from the very things they need to hold ground with. You need a real culture an actual culture. If you have a real ethnicity and culture to defend then the government which by the way is a corporate entity cannot just label you as being white. Why would you fight for the very thing they are trying to make you into? Saying you are white is stealing from yourself and disrespecting your ancestors.

In conclusion when someone asks you what you are explain to them my Empirical Designation is American my ethnicity is Italian my Nationality is Appalachian and my corporate designation is white. Think this way and watch your world change. You probably should Subscribe.
